How Do I Get Started?

- Carl and Eric will personally review your idea and provide a consultation and quote. The quote will cover the cost and schedule for developing your prototype.
- To approve the quote for your invention, you sign and return to us along with the cost of the first phase and we will start your project Immediately.
Sonos Product Development provides electronic prototyping services to build the first electronic proof-of-concept breadboard model using the most efficient time and cost methods to prove out your design. We utilize microcontrollers like the Arduino or PIC Microchip and software to drive peripherals over I2C or SPI buses or whatever it takes to make your electronic invention come to life. With our electronic prototyping process, we can get a working model up and running in the shortest time, and at a low cost.

Our design process allows for fast and inexpensive “tweaking” of the final timing and operation of the electronic breadboard. We can also provide consumer testing if needed. The initial electronic prototype provides an excellent physical “spec”, and helps ensure the quality of the product before going to manufacturing, and we always recommend a rough production solution be considered before starting the electronic prototype to prove out what will be feasible to produce in production and manufactured within the target price point.
